Members of Team Dirrell reached out to BoxingScene.com to express their opinions on a recent episode of "Fight Camp 360," which aired on the Showtime network. During the episode, Allan Green made a remark which struck a heavy nerve with the fighting super middleweight brothers, Andre and Anthony Dirrell, and it also infuriated members of their team. Leon Lawson Jr., uncle and assistant trainer to the Dirrell brothers, exploded on the subject.

“We feel disrespected and it seems like Allan Green is campaigning for another ass whooping. We're definitely willing to oblige him on that. Either one of the Dirrell brothers. Either one he wants. Anthony or Andre. Two different styles. Whichever one he wants. Both of them are ready to beat his ass,” Lawson Jr. told BoxingScene.com.

“They were asking him something about whether he would continue his career. He said 'I ain't no Andre Dirrell,' like Andre quit. I want to let the people know that Andre Dirrell is back in gym, he's looking sharper than ever and ain't nobody safe at 168-pounds. And I mean nobody. If you're at 168-pounds, you ain't safe.”

Green’s comment may have been a reference to Andre Dirrell withdrawing from the Super Six tournament after suffering a head injury in last year’s disqualification win over Arthur Abraham.

Anthony Dirrell (21-0, 18KOs) is scheduled to return on July w against Michi Munoz at the Atwood Stadium in Flint, Michigan. The card will be promoted by Dirrell Promotions. Andre Dirrell (19-1, 13KOs) is currently training for a tentative return in August. Green is presently campaigning at light heavyweight - but the difference in weight is not a deal-breaker, says Lawson Jr.

“They need to call to make the fight, come up with some numbers and make the fight. He bit off more than he could chew this time, because either one of the brothers will beat his ass...either one. He couldn't even whoop an old man. He better not get in the ring with one of these young boys. Both brothers are willing to pass Allan Green around like a prostitute,” Lawson said.

Head trainer and grandfather, Leon Lawson Sr., had his own opinion on the matter.

“Either one of them. We'll be glad to get in on. He made that little smart remark. Therefore, he thinks the Dirrells are whatever he thinks they are. What he said on TV. He could fight either of them, or both.....any time, any place. He's welcome to have either of them at any time. Green said that he's not a Dirrell. He's right, Dirrells don't get knocked out…legally. He didn't have to stoop that low to make a smart remark like that,” Lawson Sr. said.
