WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (50-2-2, 28KOs) plans to follow through on his promise of knocking out undefeated challenger Martin Murray (25-0-1, 11KOs) on April 27th at Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Martinez fights in Argentina for the first time since 2002.

"The fight will be difficult Murray has a lot to gain and very little to lose. [Murray] has the characteristic of self-motivation if necessary. I think that he is going to give everything to win or to reach the final bell - but I will try to do what I said, and knock him out in the eighth," Martinez said.

"I will be very well prepared physically, but I still don't know if I'm ready for the 50,000 people who plan to attend. It is strange after so many years to come back to fight in my country and with such a high number of people coming to see me - it might become difficult to keep my emotions in check [during the fight]."
