BoxingScene.com was advised of an interesting boxing twist. Welterweight contender Selcuk Aydin (23-0, 17KOs) is going to use former rival Jo Jo Dan (29-2, 16KOs) as a sparring partner in his ongoing training camp.

Aydin is preparing for his Showtime televised fight with Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (29-1-1, 18KOs) on July 28th in San Jose, California.

Dan's manager, Chris Ganescu, tells BoxingScene that his fighter will soon join Aydin's camp in San Jose.

Dan's two career defeats came at the hands of Aydin. In their initial June 2010 encounter, Aydin dropped Dan in the first round and won a controversial split decision in a WBC final eliminator. The WBC would eventually order a rematch. In the second meeting, which took place in November 2011, Aydin dropped Dan twice and broke his jaw - and won a close twelve round decision on the cards.
