Former featherweight WBO title-holder Scott Harrison has been told that he must return to Spain to serve the rest of his prison sentence. Harrison, 27-3-2 (15), was convicted of assault in 2012 after attacking three men in a brothel. Sheriff Thomas Welsh QC upheld the European Arrest Warrant issued by the Spanish authorities, a move that incensed Harrison and his father, Peter.
“The sheriff has decided to extradite me to Spain,” he said when speaking to the Daily Record. “My lawyers will lodge an appeal to the High Court. The Spanish look after their own. In this country it's the other way about.”
