WBC silver junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez believes that he has a good chance to become the first man to knock out Argentina's Carlos Baldomir, the former world champion at welterweight. They fight this Saturday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the pay-per-view undercard to Shane Mosley-Sergio Mora.

"Canelo" has dedicated this fight to the millions of Mexicans who are celebrating the Bicentennial of Mexico. He wants to be part of the celebration by knocking out Baldomir. He won't be afraid to mix it up with Baldomir and knows the 39-year-old veteran has experience with his past fights against Floyd Mayweather, Zab Judah and Joshua Clottey.

"Baldomir has no power in his fists, but he has always been a tough opponent. He throws a lot of punches, he holds a lot, but I know that I can knock him out because I have faster hands, my punches are strong and when I throw them they are accurate," Alvarez said.
