Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr., who two weeks ago became a Russian citizen, said he had already begun training for his next fight, which he says will be held in Moscow.

He says his next fight is being planned for the early winter or late autumn, and things are being worked out Jones to fight for a world title in the cruiserweight division. He is considering three potential dates - November 28, December 2 and December 12.

He says negotiations are underway with five possible opponents - which contradicts widespread reports of him facing Enzo Maccarinelli.

"Yes, I have already started training for his fight. I'll start back to work on Monday, I started to get in shape. My job as a trainer doesn't bother me, but only helps me to prepare. My sparring is scheduled to begin in about a month," said Jones.

When asked as to what the plan would be for his next fight, he stated - "I think I'll be boxing for the IBF world title."

The champion of the IBF at cruiserweight is 31-year-old Argentinian Victor Ramirez, who will make the first defense of his title on October 2 in Argentina, and his opponent will be 35-year-old Briton Ovill McKenzie.

McKenzie is promoted by Frank Warren, who has a very close working relationship with Vladimir Hryunov - the Russian promoter of Jones. If McKenzie pulls off the upset, a fight with Jones could be very possible.
