Junior middleweight contender Gabriel Rosado (20-5) sees a lot of similarities between himself and Josesito Lopez. On a recent edition of BoxingScene.com's official audio show The Boxing Lab, Rosado said that he will be rooting for Lopez on September 15th.

"I'm pulling for Josesito. He's an underdog and I really want to see him win. I think I like Josesito so much because they counted him out versus (Victor) Ortiz, saying that Canelo was fighting Ortiz next. Its kind of like me. I was counted out and then I made some adjustments to get back," stated Rosado.

Even though his record sports 5 losses, Rosado said that he wouldn't change a thing about his career. He said that the hardships that he has endured have helped get him to the point that he is now at.

"I think that my career has made me the fighter I am today. I like the fact that nothing was given to me.  I had to earn my spot. I had to fight those tough fights. I wouldn't change anything," Rosado told The Boxing Lab.

The fighter of Puerto Rican decent also praised IBF junior middleweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage. Rosado's fight against Charles Whitaker is an eliminator to decide who will be Bundrage's next mandatory challenger. He said that K9 is a fighter who is a better than a lot of people perceive him to be.

"I like K9. I don't think K9 gets enough credit. He isn't the most talented fighter but he gets the job done. He's a stocky, tough fighter. I have a lot of respect for him. Hopefully I take care of Whitaker and I can fight K9 really soon," Rosado concluded.
