LAS VEGAS -- If eight-division titlist, Manny Pacquiao, successfully defends his WBO welterweight belt against five-time champion, Shane Mosley, on Saturday night at the MGM Grand, the boxer's trainer, Freddie Roach, would like his next bout to be against unbeaten, six-time champ, Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 knockouts) will be after his 14th consecutive win and his ninth knockout during that run against Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs), who lost a unanimous decision to Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs) on May 1, 2010, after staggering Mayweather in the second round.

"Floyd Mayweather is the biggest challenge for us. He's the hardest style for us to fight. I look forward to getting the game plan down for that. I like the challenge," said Roach, who will be honored with his fifth Trainer of The Year award at Friday night's Boxing Writers Association of America dinner.

"I wish that I could just come to a happy medium and fight, because this is really hurting the game of boxing, I feel. That fight is so big, make it 50-50, financially," said Roach. "I travel all over the world, and everywhere I go, people ask me to make that fight. I don't care where it is, the Ukraine, or wherever it might be. They want to see that fight."
