Renowned trainer Freddie Roach is busy preparing WBC middleweight champion, Miguel Cotto, for his November 21st battle against Mexican matinee idol, Saul Alvarez, in what is the last remaining big fight of 2015.

This match-up takes place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

When asked to give a scouting report on 'Canelo', Roach told the gathered media at the Wild Card Boxing Club on Wednesday:

"He's a very good puncher, he's got a good right-hand, he's young, he's dangerous. I'm not sure how durable he is. I think he can be broke down. I think he fatigues in the middle rounds quite often in most of his fights. He's very good early and I think in the later rounds he fades a little bit."

Roach, questions the conditioning and work ethic of Alvarez based on his time spent at Roach's other gym in Santa Monica.

"He trained at Wild Card West for quite a while and he didn't show up every day and I got reports everyday on when he showed up and when he didn't and one time they couldn't find him for a week. But you got a young kid who's got the world by the balls. He's going to do what he wants," said Roach.
