WBA interim-lightweight champion Richard Abril (17-2-1, 8KOs) is getting more and more confident as his training camp continues for the upcoming showdown with Brandon Rios (29-0-1, 22KOs) on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay is Las Vegas. The vacant WBA title will be on the line.

“On April 14th, I am going to show [the fans] that Rios isn’t the Lion that [his camp and promoters] are painting him to be,” Abril said.

Trainer Osmiri Fernandez said - “This has been the longest and best training camp that Abril has had for any fight We are confident in our boxer and he will go to Las Vegas to make a great fight and to conquer this title."
