On February 27th at the Manchester Arena, Scott Quigg dropped a twelve round split decision to arch-rival Carl Frampton in what was a super bantamweight unification bout. Quigg fell behind big on the scorecards early on before staging a late rally.

In looking back Quigg has one big regret - "Obviously, not starting soon enough. When I say not starting soon enough, we got the tactics slightly wrong. We probably gave him too much respect early on for his boxing skills. But listen, getting hit like that in the jaw slowed me down. I neglected the left jab which is one of the biggest assets in boxing and that cost me them early rounds and that was due to  myself."

Quigg (31-1-2, 23 KO's) says he is scheduled to return on November 26th in Manchester on the Anthony Joshua undercard.

"We've got a couple of names, it will be at 126. We're just trying to nail it down now," he explained on Tuesday afternoon.

But the aim is get another crack at Frampton, who captured the WBA featherweight title by defeating Leo Santa Cruz on July 30th in Brooklyn, New York.

"Obviously the rematch is what we want. He's the only person to beat me and I 100 percent believe I'll beat him next time," said Quigg.

"Like I said, we got the tactics slightly wrong, got the jaw broke. If I would've started as I ended the fight I think I would've won it comfortably but the thing is to get back in the ring, get a good win under my belt and get people talking, wanting to see that fight, again.

"So that's the main goal - I want that fight, again, and wrong that right."
