Photos: Randy Couture Makes James Toney Tap in Boston

Randy Couture stopped James Toney during a UFC heavyweight fight on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. Couture defeated Toney by first round triangle choke. Toney, a former middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight champion, was making his mixed martial arts debut against one of the toughest guys in the history of the UFC. The fight took place in the co-feature of UFC 118.

Why was this bumped? This fight was nothing more than a circus freak, side-show attraction. Past-prime, fat, punch drunk Jame Toney can't even speak properly and is brain damaged. He shouldn't of been allowed to fight, boxing or otherwise. And the UFC should be ashamed of themselves for putting such a joke of a fight on.

This bull**** *** fight. A punchy, fat old James Toney. I was so pissed this night having to hear UFC fans around me talk like Toney was still some top boxer. Exactly those UFC fans talked so much sh1t about boxing after that..time for payback
