I shall be rooting for Lara, possibly by stoppage if he fights more aggressive.

I agree 100%.
Not only does Lara have to be more active to win, but also to market himself better. I think Erislandy's at a point in his career where a fight like this will have a greater impact on his career. Lara showed greater promise early, but he's had some duds. He needs a compelling performance here, not just a win.
If he doesn't hurt his hand during the fight, I can see him beating Angulo the same way he beat Hernandez, head clashes and all lol

Lara has got to attempt more combinations....he will not get the decision especially in los angeles, angulo will....lara has to stay smart as always but throw more quick combos and stay off the ropes and it shud be easy work.....

vacant interim wba title? didn't expect that. good for them, i guess that makes the winner of this the mando to alvarez/mayweather. at the thought of mayweather being super-wba, alvarez being world-wba, and the winner of this being interim-wba titleholder. the wba needs to chill with all these belts they have out there.
i'm a fan of both guys, but i'm going with lara in this one. he's got more left in the tank careerwise imo, i'd like to see him go far with his career. plus, seeing that this is happening in cali, the judges might favor angulo's come forward style more. hopefully it's a great night of boxing and we have honest judges in all fights.
This is weird cause Lara was the mando for the WBC title too.
Did Errol Spence give Lara that black eye too?
