Former six division champion Oscar De La Hoya is undecided as to whether or not he will fight again. He admits that his family is begging him to retire from boxing. Even his wife, Millie, has told him that he "doesn't have it any more" and needs to walk away before suffering serious injury.

De La Hoya, speaking for the first time since December's crushing stoppage loss to Manny Pacquiao, has no idea if he will fight again, but sounds like he might be leaning towards retirement. After the Pacquiao loss, De La Hoya himself told ex-trainer Freddie Roach - "You were right, I just don't have it anymore."

He plans to make a decision on his career in the near future.

"My family and my wife tell me 'Enough! Accept it. That's it. You don't have it no more.' I've been on vacation and not thinking about it, but hopefully soon I will make that firm and last decision. I've been going back and forth and everybody and their mother is telling me to hang them up, but I have to be certain," said De La Hoya to BBC Sport .

"There are a lot of questions out there, obviously. People will come up to me and say 'why were you so light?' [against Pacquiao] or 'were you overtrained?', 'why didn't you have [former trainer Floyd] Mayweather Sr in your corner?' There are a lot of questions out there that need to be answered and I'll figure it out."
