The summer season of Boxeo Telemundo will premiere July 17 at Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida, rotating between Florida and Mexico.

7/17—KISSIMMEE CIVIC CENTER, KISSIMMEE, FL
Kicking off the summer season, Puerto Rico's Jonathan Oquendo headlines versus an opponent to be determined.

Oquendo (25-4, 16KOs) recovered from a 10-round loss to Abner Mares last summer with a unanimous decision win over Gabino Cota this past March in the Boxeo Telemundo spring season premiere, which also took place in Kissimmee.

7/24—AUDITORIO BLACKBERRY, MEXICO CITY, MX
Previous rivals Alejandro 'Payasito' Hernandez and Martin Casillas appear in separate bouts versus opponents to be determined.

Hernandez (29-11-2, 15KOs)—a longtime series favorite—outpointed Casillas (15-5, 9KOs) over 10 rounds this past March, in the lone bout of the spring season to take place in Mexico. The win was Hernandez' first since coming up short versus then-bantamweight titlist Tomoki Kameda last November.

7/31—A LA CARTE PAVILION, TAMPA, FL
The one show with an established main event pits local favorite Daniel Lozano (13-1, 10KOs) versus Ricardo Rodriguez in a 10-round junior bantamweight bout.

The event marks Lozano's first fight since appearing in the Telemundo 115 lb. tournament finals, dropping a 10-round decision to David Carmona in March.

Rodriguez (11-2, 4KOs) has won two straight, including a 7th round knockout of Jonathan Vidal this past March.

8/7—AUDITORIO BLACKBERRY, MEXICO CITY, MX
Mexico's Romulo Koasicha (24-4, 14KOs) headlines in a 10-round featherweight versus an opponent to be determined.

The 24-year old has won three straight following his lone fight outside of Mexico, dropping a 12-round decision to Lee Selby last May on the road in Cardiff, Wales. Selby has since gone on to claim a featherweight title, unseating previously unbeaten Evgeny Gradovich last month in England.

SPRING SUCCESS

The spring season of Boxeo Telemundo served as the highest rated program among the Hispanic boxing market, averaging 388,000 viewers per episode, up 14% from the same time one year ago. Its biggest win came in the coveted 18-49 market, with ratings rising 22% from its 2014 season, which landed record-breaking numbers for the long-running boxing series.
