Undefeated Danish super middleweight Oliver Zaren will meet France’s Samuel Cavret on March 8 at Scandic Hotel Sluseholmen in Copenhagen, Denmark, in a scheduled eight-rounder.
For Cavret, 8-3-1 (1 KO), the fight – on Bettina Palle's “Big Boys Boksegalla” – will be his first outside of France, where he scored a win as recently as last weekend. He has never been stopped.
Zaren, 15-0 (6 KOs), turned pro with Q Pro Boxing in Denmark in 2019 and was trained by none other than Mikkel Kessler. When Q folded, Oliver was signed by Wasserman Sports and fought mainly in Germany and the UK from 2020 through 2024. The contract with Wasserman expired at the end of last year, and Thomas Macon, who was assistant trainer to Kessler late into his career, has been acting as Zaren’s head coach in his past few fights.
Headlining the bill in Copenhagen will be a cruiserweight clash between Hamza Hussein, 8-0 (3 KOs), and Finnish veteran Niklas Rasanen, 17-3-1 (10 KOs).
The event also marks the debut for the new streaming platform FightSport.dk.
