Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain, believes there are too many factors in favor of Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) - who defends the WBC middleweight title against Amir Khan on May 7th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The fight is scheduled to take place at a catch-weight of 155, with Khan moving up by eight pounds from the welterweight limit of 147.

Canelo usually rehydrates to well above 170-pounds when he enters the ring.

There are some trainers, like Freddie Roach, who give Khan a shot at victory - if the British fighter is able to fight the 'perfect fight' by using his speed, staying defensive and avoiding exchanges for twelve rounds.

Beristain disagrees with his fellow trainers. Even with a perfect fight, Nacho still see Khan getting knocked out. Nacho doesn't believe that Khan is capable of taking a good shot, because of the British fighter's knockout defeats in lower weight divisions.

"I think it will be an explosive fight, which could see Khan [take things into the later rounds] if he has a great night - but I think when Canelo, who is a good fighter, settles in the ring - he is going to knock [Khan] out. I feel [that Canelo will knock Khan out] in six or seven rounds, no more than that," Beristain told ESPN Deportes.

"Let [Khan] do it as Erislandy Lara, who stayed away with jabs, and when you can no longer do that - then hold, because you are not going to get hit hard during an embrace. Canelo is a fighter who has improved, especially on defense, but he has a punch that can put [Khan] out of action."

"[Khan] is a fighter and fighters look for championships as well as money. And the bout with Canelo was the most lucrative fight for him, so no problem. Oscar de la Hoya knows that by putting Canelo in with Khan, everyone is going to make money and we can not blame them for that."
