Discussions have taken place for the possibility of South Africa's Zolani Tete (19-3, 16 KO's) taking a trip to Puerto Rico to defend the super flyweight crown of the International Boxing Federation against mandatory challenger McJoe Arroyo (15-0, 8 KO's), according promoter Peter Rivera, vice president of PR Best Boxing.

Tete defeated Teiru Kinoshita (19-1) by unanimous decision on July 18 in Japan to win the vacant title in that division, while Arroyo spectacularly knocked out former Mexican champion Hernan 'Tyson 'Marquez in the eleventh round of an eliminator in Chiapas, Mexico.

"We are working it. We are already in negotiations and we'll see if I can bring it here," Rivera said.
