Former IBF cruiserweight champion and Sky commentator, Glenn McCrory, gave his take on the May 2nd super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

He felt Pacquiao showed some bad sportsmanship in the contest. Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision. After the match was over, Pacquiao first complained about the decision and claimed he won. At the press conference, he said his performance was affected by a right shoulder injury.

McCrory says Mayweather outboxed the Filipino star by taking away all of Pacquiao's best attributes.

"I don’t particularly think so. First of all, Pacquiao said that he thought he won the fight, which was ridiculous. Then all of the sudden he’s got an excuse that he had a bad shoulder. I think it’s a little bit of bad sportsmanship from Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather did what he always does, he takes away the powers of fighters, anything they’re good at, he takes it away," McCrory said to On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"Pacquiao certainly didn’t want to engage with him. He got him on the ropes enough times and then it was Pacquiao who was backing off, and you don’t normally see that. I think Mayweather boxed within himself against Pacquiao and I can’t see Pacquiao doing any better."
