Former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) is being swarmed with comeback questions during his tour of the UK.

Mayweather retired last September after winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Andre Berto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Traditionally, Mayweather would fight on Cinco De Mayo weekend in May and usually in September as part of Mexican Independence Day weekend. On most years Mayweather would fight only once, either in May or September. But for the last three years, he stepped up his yearly activity and fought in May and September.

This year, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Amir Khan is the first big fight to overtake Cinco De Mayo weekend. The fight was finalized for May 7th at the newly constructed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

During an interview with Adam Smith, Mayweather was asked if he was concerned that Canelo-Khan was booked on Cinco De Mayo weekend or the fact that it will become the first boxing event at the T-Mobile Arena - a venue that Mayweather had once hoped to open up before he finalized his decision to retire.

Khan recently took to the social networks and took a shot at Mayweather, regarding his Cinco De Mayo date being snatched away. Mayweather is not taking the bait.

"You must realize I'm a lot older now. Next year I will be 40 years old. This month I will be 39. So you know the clock is ticking. In twelve months I'll be 40 years old. I didn't want the sport to retire me. I wanted to retire from the sport on my own terms, and that's what its really about. I've made crazy money in the sport, somewhere upwards of 800 million in the sport of boxing. I don't have the urge to go to any boxing gyms anymore. I look forward to training fighters," Mayweather said.

"I'm happy with where I'm at, believe me. The sport has been great to me and I truly believe that I've don a lot for the sport. For me to come into a sport and fight and keep 100% of the revenue. that's never been done before. A man who's been a mentor to me, and a father to me, and that's Al Haymon...a great guy. We had a game plan over ten years ago. That's a match made in heaven, Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather, and we're still going strong."
