It has yet to be confirmed, but several rap websites are reporting that WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and former opponent Zab Judah were involved in a brief scuffle at the OPM nightclub in Las Vegas. The story was also repeated by more than one hip-hop radio station.
Last April, Mayweather won a unanimous decision over Judah in a fight that saw both camps brawl in the ring after Judah hit Mayweather with a hard lowblow in the tenth round. Afterwards, Zab, his father Yoel and Roger Mayweather were all fined and given suspensions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
One website actually has photos (click here), though you can barely make out who was involved as security swarmed the scene.
According to various versions of the story, Mayweather initiated a war of words with Judah and the situation quickly turned into a physical encounter. Judah reportedly suffered a few bloody knuckles from the brief skirmish.
