Las Vegas, Nevada - WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) is not fixated on what happens during his sparring sessions.

Over the last few weeks, there have been numerous stories with respect to Mayweather's sparring sessions. Stories of Mayweather beating down sparring partners, stories of Mayweather being beat down, and stories of injuries being suffered from round sessions.

What happens in sparring is irrelevant, says Mayweather. The undefeated pound-for-pound king is only concerned with one thing - the final outcome on May 2nd.

"What I do with sparring partners is not important. I can have a good day in the gym and sparring partners can have a good day on me. That don't count. What counts is what happens under the lights when it's for all the marbles," Mayweather said.
