Former two division world champion Rafael Marquez is ready for war at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. On Saturday he challenges Japanese lefty, Toshiaki Nishioka, for the World Boxing Council's super bantamweight title.

"I do not know whether I'll win by knockout or decision, but that title will return with me to Mexico," said Rafa, who is well acquainted with the Japanese boxer.

Marquez will be accompanied by his team, headed by the legendary trainer Daniel Zaragoza, coach Arturo Uruzquieta and prominent doctor Plutarco Gatica.

"I had a great preparation for this match. I know the commitment is great, but I've been training hard and sparring left-handed boxers and I can say that I have every confidence in being crowned champion on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada," said Marquez.

Marquez was present when Jhonny Gonzalez lost to Nishioka in Monterrey in 2009, and he also watched some of fights on video.

"I've charted a roadmap for this fight, which is going to be fulfilled 100%," Marquez said.
