WBA interim-junior welterweight champion Marcos Maidana is expecting the full champion, Amir Khan, to stay on the move at all times when they step in the ring on December 11 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Maidana is working on several strategies in the fight, including the use of body punches to slow down the quicker man.

"I don't think he's going to stop in front of me because I'm a puncher, but we're going to be ready for any kind of fight," Maidana told BoxingScene.com's Luis Sandoval.

Maidana has knocked out 27 of his 30 opponents. He's by far the puncher in the fight. He doesn't think much of Khan's chin. Maidana expects a single punch to close the show. He's going to be patient because he expects to land something big at some point in the fight.

"I'm going to take the fight on the basis that I know that at one time in the fight - I'm going to hit him - and if I'm going to hit him then he's going to go," Maidana said.
