Carson, California- In a span of a week, Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury made numerous headlines worldwide. First it was the Batman stunt by Fury at their press conference in London. Then only a few days later, Klitschko had to pull out of the fight with a calf injury. The fight slated for October 24th has now been rescheduled to November 28th in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fury is never one to mince his words and lashed out - calling Klitschko every name in the book for the injury withdrawal. Fury says he predicted - to Wladimir's face - that he would fake an injury to postpone the fight. A claim which the managing director of K2 Promotions vehemently denies.

“Wladimir has proven many things in the heavyweight division,” Loeffler told BoxingScne.com. “It’s 55,000 in a soccer stadium with over 100 countries tuning in, that’s the last thing Wladimir wanted to do was pull out of a fight. Boxing is one of those sports where if you’re not 100 percent, you shouldn’t go - it’s all or nothing. It seems like the prognoses of the doctor was good, he met with him yesterday. The prognoses is that we’ll be ready for November 28th.”

Though he may think Fury’s remarks are outlandish, Loeffler feels this event is one of the biggest boxing events of the year because Fury himself is one of the best promoters in the sport.

“He’s a great promoter and he came in there with the Batman suit,” Loeffler said. “He may not be as good as Shannon Briggs but he sure made headlines with the Batman and Joker thing. It made headlines worldwide so we give him and his team a lot of credit. He’s a mandatory for Wladimir’s titles so he’s going to bring a lot of fans from the UK and we can’t wait for November 28th.”
