Heavyweight prospect Leo Atang will return to action in 2026 not long after he wrapped up his final fight of 2025.
Atang, an 18-year-old from York, England, moved to 3-0 (3 KOs) on the December 20 undercard of Craig Richards vs. Dan Azeez in Accra, Ghana. His win came via first-round stoppage against the 3-0 Babu Yusuf.
Atang’s promoter, Matchroom Boxing, has announced that the 6-foot-6 up-and-comer will be back on January 31 on the undercard of Bakhram Murtazaliev defending his junior middleweight title against Josh Kelly in Newcastle, England.
Atang’s other two fights in 2025 also ended in the opening round. He dispatched the 7-15 Milen Paunov in July and the 1-5-1 Cristian Uwaka in September.
