Matchroom’s younger heavyweight prospect Leo Atang will bid to extend his unbeaten pro record to 5-0 when he faces Dan Garber in Nottingham on February 21.
Atang, only 19 years old but tipped for big things by both promoter Eddie Hearn and manager Sam Jones, is 4-0 (4 KOs) with three first-round knockouts. The youngster is from York and will take his place on the Nottingham Arena bill headlined by the grudge rematch between Leigh Wood and Josh Warrington.
Southpaw Garber is 11-6 (2 KOs) having turned pro in 2017 and the Bradford man has boxed the likes of Moses Itauma (l tko 1), Viddal Riley (l tko 2), Hughie Fury (l tko 5), and Matty Harris (l pts 6).
