If he was just some limp-wristed, suck up company man for HBO, "Unofficial Fight Judge" Harold Lederman would keep his mouth shut about Floyd Mayweather Jr's acidic verbal attack in a post fight interview with 80-year-old HBO analyst Larry Merchant, which took place following Floyd's KO win over Victor Ortiz on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

After all, "Money" is one of the prime cable network's two most important fistic clients, the other obviously being a gentleman named Manny Pacquiao.

But the part-time pharmacist isn't and he wont.

Mayweather has never hid his displeasure with the Merchant of Venom's analysis of his in ring performances, constantly asserting that the former New York Post sports columnist never gives him his "just due."

Mayweather then called for HBO to fire the commentator, saying "you don't know sh*t about boxing."

In reaction to Mayweather's rips, in what Merchant calls now an act of "sponstaneous combustion," the Santa Monica resident fired back by saying - "if I were 50-years younger, I would kick your ass."

Later, Merchant amended that to saying if he was 30 and not age 80, he would've given it his best (Oklahoma Sooners) college try in spanking mouthy "Money."

"That was a disgrace," Lederman said Tuesday at the Margarito-Cotto press conference at the posh Edison Ballroom inside the historic Edison Hotel on West 47th Street in Manhattan.

"I'm sorry but you don't attack an octogenarian like that, it was disgraceful," Lederman said. "I mean, they were talking about a prize fight, not world affairs. They could've agreed to disagree but Floyd got too personal. It was not that serious or momentous a topic. You can't blame Larry for his reaction. Floyd made his blood boil."
