Move over Evander Holyfield and Shannon Briggs, IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko still has his eyes set on WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev. It was reported by Dan Rafael that talks have begin with Klitschko's people and Maskaev's promoter Dennis Rappaport.

The target date for the unification bout at the moment is April 28 on HBO - if Maskaev gets by December 10 defense against Peter Okhello in Moscow. The target venue is Madison Square Garden in New York, where the camps feel the fight would do very well.
