Internet legend Kimbo Slice (Kevin Ferguson) continues his successful rise in professional boxing on February 11, 2012 when he fights in Springfield, MO at ‘Fight Night Returns.’ The fan favorite has scored first round knockouts in his first 2 professional bouts. Slice looks to continue to pile up KOs as he climbs the heavyweight ladder.

In other boxing action on the card, top prospect Orlando Utsey looks to continue his meteoric rise in the sport. At just 5-0 (4 KOs), the Arkansas resident has already captured the NAMA Welterweight Title. Utsey, who is trained by Kevin Lightburn, amassed an amateur record of 113-5 prior to turning pro.

Another top prospect on the card is Seneca, Missouri’s Jesse ‘Left Hook’ Cook. In less than two rounds of pro experience, Cook has recorded 5 knockdowns and 2 KOs. Springfield fighter ‘Iron’ Will Grover looks to add another KO to his 6-1 (6 KOs) record. The popular Grover has been involved in the ‘fight of the night’ his last two outings, and has become a crowd favorite due to his toe to toe style.

With a record of 13-10, Jose Gonzalez looks to restart his career. Gonzalez, who is trained by Brandon Woods, saw a promising future turn south. Rejuvenated and focused, Gonzalez is excited to fight in front of his hometown fans. Another Woods’ trained fighter, Steven Kollin, will make his pro debut on the card.
