Amir Khan's homecoming fight against Derry's Paul McCloskey at the MEN Arena, Manchester on April 16 has now been moved from PPV to Sky Sports 3.  Sky have updated their schedules to reflect the change and have made the decision after the bill fell apart in recent weeks.  Tyson Fury was said to be taking on Hasim Rahman in a bid to shore up the bill only for Rahman's trainer, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad to pull the plug on the heavyweight clash, which joins Anthony Crolla versus Gavin Rees on the cutting room floor.

It is a huge blow for Khan's promotional vehicle, they brought in Ricky Hatton Promotions to populate the bill only for bad luck, injury and now Eddie's decision to knock the bill for six.  The decision is also a huger one for the future of British boxing, fans have complained about the quality of recent PPV events, such as Audley Harrison's recent challenge to David Haye, and the quality of the undercards on Sky Box Office fight nights.  This strong decision will have repercussions for promoters who use the PPV platform as they will now have to ensure that their initial bills can withstand the withdrawals and problems that are currently dogging the British scene.
