Amir 'King' Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) believes that he's going to have an army of British support when he takes on WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KOs) on May 7th.

Falling on Cinco De Mayo weekend, one of the most popular Mexican holidays of the year, the majority of the arena support is expected to fall in Canelo's favor.

Khan disagrees with Canelo's having the arena on his side.

He anticipates a lot of British fans jumping across to the United States and taking over Las Vegas.

"We will go in to win this fight, and I will prove people wrong. Even though it is Cinco de Mayo, the British fans will come out. In Vegas, there will be more British flags then Mexican flags," Khan said.

Khan is the big underdog, with just about everyone siding with Canelo due to the size advantage. Khan is moving up by eight-pounds to take the fight and Canelo usually rehdyrates to 170-pounds or more. The odds are not bother Khan, who continues to voice his confidence about victory.

"This is the biggest fight of my career. Canelo is physically very strong, and come fight night, I will be ready and coming in very happy and very strong. It will be like a game of chess. Canelo is very strong. I have a very good trainer who will tell me the right game plan. This fight will be an exciting one, and I really believe I can win this fight and if I didn't I wouldn't be here," Khan said.
