The Cuban bridgerweight Julio Cesar La Cruz fights Dilan Prasovic of Montenegro on April 11 in Varadero, Cuba.
The Agon Sports Cuban Fight Night has been scheduled for the Hotel Melia Internacional. La Cruz, 3-0 (3KOs) and 35 years old, is ranked first by the WBA.
Prasovic, stopped in three rounds by Britain’s Lawrence Okolie in 2021 in a fight for the WBC cruiserweight title, is 30 years old and 18-5 (15KOs).
La Cruz won Olympic gold at light heavyweight at Rio 2016.
