BoxingScene.com recently caught up with undefeated super welterweight prospect Julian "J Rock" Williams (21-0-1), who is 3-0 in 2015 and hoping to get one more fight in this year.

"I hope (to get one more fight) but I don't know. The plan was to fight in December so who knows," said Williams.

The Philadelphia resident has openly campaigned for a big fight for a while now but isn't holding his breathe that it will come in his next fight.

"The landscape changes so much. Of course I want a top guy. I want a title shot. Will that happen in my next fight? Probably not. I want a title eliminator. I want a name because right now I am still getting better and at the same time I am ready to knock these guys off," Williams explained.

On November 21st, a mega-fight will be contested just one pound above the 154 pound super welterweight limit between Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez. Williams finished our conversation with his take on the fight.

"That is a tough one man. I really think it's 50-50. Cotto is a legitimate superstar fighter but he is also a little bit on the old side. Besides Sergio Martinez he didn't really beat anyone at middleweight. Daniel Geale, he isn't Canelo. Canelo has that youth with him. I think he is super hungry. If I had to make a choice I would say Canelo by decision but I think it's going to be a really good fight," Williams told BoxingScene.com.
