WBO bantamweight world champion Jorge Arce (59-6-2, 45KOs) is looking for the biggest fights possible in 2012. Arce is looking to end his career in 2012 with another world title. He returns on February 18th in a defend of his title in a rematch against Lorenzo Parra.
Arce would be willing to Nonito Donaire in May or June, if the Filipino fighter defeats Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. on February 4th for the vacant WBO super bantamweight title.
"I've won five championships, which weren't purchased, but won in the ring. I will defend my bantamweight title on February 18 against Lorenzo Parra in Durango, and then look to face one of the best out there, Nonito Donaire, if he beats Vazquez. Everyone says that Nonito is invincible, but boxing is about style, and I know I can beat him," Arce said.
