Dominican superstar and former champion Joan “Little Tyson" Guzmán (32-0-1, 19KOs) is working hard for his upcoming fight, taking place on on July 21st at The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. Guzman has fully recovered from a right hand injury that derailed his planned return on May 18th. Guzman will face Jorge Pimentel (29-15, 19KOs).

“The injury is a thing of the past. We worked very hard over ten rounds on several occasions and I'm in great condition,” Guzman said.

Jorge Pimentel has faced name fighters in the past, including unbeaten Filipino Mercito Gesta

“We hope that Pimentel will come with a hunger to give an exciting battle. My style is a poison for these kinds of fighters. I’m back and ready to face the best at 140 pounds,” Guzman said.

Guzman now resides in Florida since signing a promotional contract with Acquinity Sports.

“I am full of enthusiasm and refocused on my career and I’m sure that I won't disappoint my fans on July 21 at the Seminole Hard Rock. They will see me return more confident and more explosive as ever," Guzman concluded.
