Hughie Fury has inked a new managerial deal.

The WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight champion, who is the undefeated cousin of former world heavyweight king Tyson Fury, has amassed a ledger of 20-0 with 10 early endings since starting in the paid code in 2013.

Fury is trained by his father Peter and the 22-year-old, who claimed the aforementioned belt with a technical decision victory over Fred Kassi on April 30 at London’s Copper Box Arena, has decided that the latest move will benefit his career greatly.

He has signed with MGM Marbella and follows in the footsteps of training partner Con Sheehan, who won for the fourth time on November 5 in Belfast.

MGM are said to be delighted to be working with Fury and they believe that he will become a world heavyweight champion.

Further details regarding Hughie Fury’s next fight –– and his first under the managerial watch of MGM Marbella –– will be revealed in due course.

IN OTHER NEWS - Kevin Satchell will return to the ring next month.

The Liverpudlian, who is a former British, Commonwealth and European champion in the flyweight division, has been out of the ring since June.

But MGM Marbella-managed ‘Satch’ (16-0, 3 KOs) will end his ring hiatus on December 4 after it was confirmed that he has been added to MGM Liverpool’s ‘Christmas Cracker’ card at the Devonshire House Hotel in his home city.

Satchell has the opportunity to contest a final eliminator for the world title next year and will use his third ring appearance of 2016 as preparation for the aforementioned step towards claiming global honours.

Promising super-welterweight talent James Metcalf will feature on the card, while there is action for Satchell’s gym-mates John Quigley and Steven Lewis, along with a second appearance in the paid code for Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Sam Maxwell. Ryan Moorhead, Ged Carroll and Tommy Carus will also box.

Stephen Ormond will make it three fights in nine weeks next month.

The Dubliner, who recently inked a managerial deal with MGM Marbella, has had one defeat and a win since signing with the highly-regarded Puerto Banus-based outfit.

Ormond was knocked out by Zoltan Szabo in a surprise setback on October 1 in Glasgow but he swiftly returned to winning ways with a retirement victory on November 5 at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast.

It has now been announced that Ormond (22-3, 12 KOs) has been handed a spot on the same card as former world champion Paul Butler.

Butler is to make his ring return, alongside fellow Frank Warren-promoted fighter Jack Catterall, on December 3 at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley, Scotland, as part of MGM Scotland’s ‘Lights Out’ event.

And Ormond, whose victim last weekend was journeyman Daniel Bazo, who was withdrawn from the clash by his corner with a shoulder injury, will fight on that bill as he makes it four outings for 2016.

Sunny Edwards will fight for the third time as a professional next month.

The 20-year-old flyweight, who is the younger brother of former IBF world title challenger Charlie Edwards, who campaigns in the same weight class, will look to make it a clean sweep of wins on December 9, having won on points in his two previous outings.

Edwards returns at the Tolworth Recreational Centre.
