Glenn Rushton, head trainer of WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (17-0-1, 11 KOs), is very confident that his fighter will once again defeat Manny Pacquiao.

This past weekend, Horn won a twelve round unanimous decision over Pacquiao to capture the WBO title before a crowd of over 51,000 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

There is a rematch clause in place and Pacquiao intends to pursue a second fight - but that also depends on where it takes place and when. Pacquiao, 38 years old, does not want a second fight in Australia.

If a rematch happens, Rushton is confident that Horn will dominate Pacquiao for a wider decision win.

"I can assure you, if there's a rematch, we will beat Manny Pacquiao by a far bigger margin," Rushto said in a report by Mark Zambrano on "News To Go."

"We have no doubt whatsoever about the outcome of that fight, and we say, bring it on, bring it on."

Many view the outcome as being controversial and saw Pacquiao as the winner, but Horn is not paying any attention to the statements.

"There's always gonna be the backlash where people are gonna say I got lucky, or whatever, there's always gonna be the saying that I didn't win the fight, but I feel like I won the fight," Horn said.

"Now, hopefully, I'm a bit more recognized, and I've established myself in the boxing community a bit more."

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who was the lead promoter of the event and the longtime force behind Pacquiao, did not view the outcome as being a robbery or controversial. He felt the contest was close and could have gone either way.

Pushing aside whether or not Pacquiao should have received the decision, many experts agreed that the eight division champion was finally starting to look his age.
