Sources from Germany are reporting that former WBO heavyweight champion Sergei Liakhovich (25-3, 16KOs) is one of the candidates being considered for Robert Helenius' next fight, which is tentative for June 25 in Germany. The unbeaten Finnish heavyweight, with a 15-0 and 10KOs record, is returning from the biggest win of his career. On April 2 he knocked out former WBC champion Samuel Peter in nine rounds. Lyakhovich would be a good test as Sauerland Event further develops Helenius into a major player in the heavyweight ranks.
