Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, says his boxer's next fight has yet to be set in stone - with his options still wide open.

Joshua reclaimed his four titles last month in Saudi Arabia, when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over Andy Ruiz.

Now Joshua has been ordered to make two mandatory defenses. Joshua has to make an IBF mandatory against Kubrat Pulev, and the WBO have ordered him to face Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua is slated to make his next ring return in April or May, and there is not opponent placed in at the moment - with Pulev perceived to be the next likely opponent.

At the moment Hearn is attempting to get clarification from the sanctioning organizations, to find out which mandatory challenger is up next.

If Pulev is up next, then Usyk could face top contender Derek Chisora to stay busy.

"Conversations are ongoing with all parties to plan what's next and it will really come to a head over the next few weeks," Hearn told Sky Sports.

"We are still awaiting clarification from the governing bodies to confirm who is chronologically next but right now everything is in play.

"In terms of Usyk v Chisora that is still a potential outcome, but March 7 is unlikely, instead we have March 28 on hold at the O2."

There is also possibility that if Joshua vacates the WBO title, that Joseph Parker, ranked at number two by the sanctioning body, will face Usyk in a battle for the vacant belt.
