Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, feels confident that his boxer's record of wins is on another level in comparison to his division rival, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Joshua will return to the ring on December 12th, against his mandatory challenger under the IBF, once-beaten Kubrat Pulev.
Fury was scheduled to return on December 5th against Agit Kabayel - but on Sunday the tentative event was officially ruled out.
"It makes me laugh when people look at AJ's resume," Hearn told Sky Sports. "Maybe I'm seeing something other people don't?
"I mean Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin, Carlos Takam previously that I missed out, Andy Ruiz, Kubrat Pulev.
"These are consecutive fights. You don't see Tom Schwarz, Otto Wallin, Sefer Serferi. Who is the other geezer? I can't even remember his name, the Italian bloke? And then Agit Kabayel. I mean it's laughable when you compare the two resumes, but it's in black and white for everyone to see."
Some of Fury's biggest wins include Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, and Derek Chisora.
There is still hope that a full division unification between Joshua and Fury will take place in 2021.
Should that fight not happen right away, due to a legal battle between Fury and Deontay Wilder, then Joshua will face the next available challenger - which could be WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk.
"AJ has consistently proved that he will fight all-comers - mandatory challengers, unified champions, future hall of famers. Anybody, and now he's doing it again, and that's why when you talk about Usyk, he will fight Usyk no problems at all, but he wants to fight Tyson Fury," Hearn said.
"He wants to prove he's the best heavyweight in the world and undisputed or not, we will do everything we can to make sure it is. Not one person can have any doubt after that fight, who the baddest man on the planet is."
