WBO cruiserweight world champion Krzysztof Glowacki (26-0, 16 KOs) is fully focused on making a mandatory defense against 2012 Olympic gold medal winner Oleksandr Usyk (9-0, 9 KOs).

The two sides are negotiating the terms. The WBO has set down a purse bid date for June 9th in New York City. The minimum to bid will be $300,000

Usyk's side would obviously like to bring the fight to Ukraine, while the champion would like it to take place in Poland.

"We're talking to promoters. [My promoter] says the purse bid will not happen. They are determining certain things. We want the fight to take place in Poland, because it is apparently a possibility," the champion said.

Recently, Denis Lebedev (29-2, 22 KOs) unified the WBA and IBF belts with a second round knockout of Victor Ramirez. After the fight, both Lebedev and his trainer, Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach, called for a showdown with Glowacki.

"I am most interested in this fight [with Lebedev]. I would even go willingly to Moscow to fight Lebedev, but right now I am only focused on Usyk," Glowacki said.

Glowacki's promoters are looking at a date in September, at the earliest, and hope to bring it to Poland where it would likely bring the most money to the contest.

The Polish puncher captured the world title last year with a Fight of The Year knockout of Marco Huck. He returned last month to retain his title for the first time with a twelve round decision over former IBF champion Steve Cunningham.
