WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch is still figuring out the next move for his career. The World Boxing Association recently ordered their "super champion" at 168-pounds, Andre Ward, to face Froch in a rematch. The two sides are not in line for the location. If they don't reach an agreement, the fight will head to a purse bid. Ward decisioned Froch in the final round of the Super Six tournament in December 2011.

Ward is open to the idea of the fight taking place in England, maybe, but rejects the idea of going to Froch's hometown of Nottingham. Froch does not believe the fight will happen because he doubts Ward will travel over to fight him in the UK.

"He already said that might come to England but he won't come to Nottingham," Froch told IFL TV.

Another possibility is WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who Froch (33-2, 24KOs) believes will be undersized at 168-pounds. Golovkin is not looking for a move to super middleweight in the near future. He is focused on unifying the middleweight division.

"Golovkin is quite a small kid. He's a big punching middleweight but he's not a super middleweight. Murray just took him eleven rounds. No disrespect to Murray but he wouldn't last more than two or three rounds with the Cobra. Where has Groves gone these days since getting Cobra'd?," Froch said.

The most likely option is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who returns in a very tough fight on April 18th against light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara.

"Chavez possibly...in August or September based on what I was told by Eddie Hearn," Froch said.
