TONIGHT is a massive night for British boxing - in both Liverpool and Las Vegas.

I will be staging a multi-title card in Liverpool, the perfect way to celebrate my 30th anniversary as a promoter.

And, over in the States, Amir Khan will defend his WBA light-welterweight title against hard-hitting Argentine Marcos Maidana.

You can see all the action - and many of British boxing's finest young talents - on Sky Box Office.

Unfortunately, we were also supposed to have action from Germany, with Dereck Chisora challenging for the world titles of Wladimir Klitschko.

But Klitschko pulled out injured this week and it was a big blow for Del Boy. who had trained hard to get up for the fight. It's a great shame and he deserves better.

Still, it's full steam ahead with the other action-packed fights and it's hard to know where to start when it comes to Liverpool.

Nathan Cleverly, Matt Macklin, Tony Bellew and Kell Brook are all in massively important fights.

And then there is the mouth-watering match-up between James DeGale and British super-middleweight champion Paul Smith. That's one I can't pick.

Cleverly boxes for the interim WBO title and is now in against Nadjib Mohammedi after his original opponent pulled out.

He will have to be at his best to become as big a name in Wales as Joe Calzaghe.

I also expect Macklin and Brook to establish themselves as major box-office stars very soon - and wins for them tonight would set up a massive 2011.

And let's not forget Khan. He's been world champion for a year now and might be in line for a unification fight in the next 12 months. He has to get past Maidana first - and I believe he will.

In fact, I believe the crude but dangerous Argentinian is made for him. I tried to make the fight for Khan last year as I've always thought Maidana will make him look a million dollars.

Of course Khan has to be careful - but he should be too good.

HATS off to Ricky Burns for his WBO super-featherweight title defence against Andreas Evensen.

Ricky has had a tough year, spending most of it training for his off-on fight with Roman Martinez, which proved to be an epic battle.

Spending 12 months in the gym takes it out of you and Ricky will have a well-earned rest over Christmas.

I VOWED not to mention Audley Harrison again but I noticed he's set up a website. No hits yet, though...

CALLUM JOHNSON, managed by Naseem Hamed and promoted by me, had a great debut last weekend. He blasted his opponent out in the second round - just like Naz predicted
