Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer for WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has rejected the recent statements made by Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach and Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum.

Mayweather is currently training for a May 2nd super-fight against WBO champion Manny Pacquiao, who is trained by Roach and promoted by Arum.

In a recent video on BoxingScene.com, Roach claimed Mayweather was getting busted up in training camp by sparring partners. A few days ago, in an article posted on BoxingScene, Arum revealed that he was given information that Mayweather was "not doing great" in camp.

Roach was contacted by Yahoo Sports and stuck to his story (based on information provided) that Mayweather was getting beat up in camp.

Roach told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday that he heard "some of those guys are beating the sh*t out of Floyd."

Mayweather Sr. responded to the outlet and said Roach, Arum and whoever else can say whatever they please.

"People can say anything they want," Mayweather Sr. said. "They can talk every day, but the truth is, ain't nobody doing sh*t to Floyd. They can say whatever they want, man. They're trying to talk to win the fight. They're not going to win the fight by talking. You can't do that. You've got to put your mitts up, get on your toes and do what you know."
