Former three-division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad recently made a prediction on the July 21 showdown between his former foes Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright, taking place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Trinidad feels the fight will be good, with Wright pulling out the win over the naturally bigger man in Hopkins.

"If Winky comes out and fights like he fought me - he will win," Trinidad said. "I think Winky Wright will beat Bernard Hopkins on Saturday."

On the topic of his comeback, Trinidad said the January 2008 return, possibly against Roy Jones Jr., is not 100%, but talks are ongoing with promoter Don King.

"It's not 100% official; there are things I have to work out. I am working them out with my promoter Don King. I am very committed to coming back and whoever the opponent is I will beat him,” Trinidad said. “I thought Roy Jones looked good in his fight (decision win over Anthony Hanshaw). The losses to Wright and Hopkins, I have no excuses, but that wasn’t the real Tito - that's the reason I'm coming back.”

As far as a rematch with Oscar De La Hoya, Trinidad is not holding his breath.

“We've been trying to do that fight for almost seven years. He doesn't want to fight.”
