The career of Jermain Taylor has plenty of options in the wake of back-to-back losses to Kelly Pavlik. Taylor lost a spirited twelve-round decision to Pavlik on February 16 in Las Vegas, but the big payday opportunities continue.

As revealed on BoxingScene.com last week, Roy Jones Jr. has been in contact with Taylor's promoter, Lou DiBella, and wants to fight Taylor at a catch-weight of 170-pounds. Recently, DiBella revealed to writer Dan Rafael that Don King has been in contact on behalf of Felix Trinidad, trying to match him against Taylor at the super middleweight limit of 168.

King was in talks with promoter Bob Arum, trying to match Trinidad with Pavlik. The issue of weight was the deal-breaker. Trinidad refused to move down to 160 and Pavlik, the middleweight champion, is not willing to fight above the weight limit.

According to DiBella, Taylor may end up fighting both Jones and Trinidad before the year is out.
