November 28, Kaunas Lithuania:

 

Lithuanian welterweight Egidijus Kavaliauskas (25-3-1) won the EBU title with a split, and according to Spanish sources controversial, decision over defending champion Samuel Molina (32-4-1). After 12 rounds of boxing the judges had it 115-113 twice for Kavaliuskas and 115-114 for Molina.

 

November 28, Pembroke, Malta:

 

 

Light-heavyweight Jean Claude Misfut, with only three recorded fights, stopped Sweden's Niclas Elfstedt (14-3-1), who didn't come out for the 11th round due to an injured rib. Misfut (3-0) was ahead on points at the time of the stoppage. This was for the vacant WBU light-heavyweight title.

 

Super-welter Clarence Goyeram (9-0) knocked out Englishman Paul Peers (3-4) in the first round in a fight for the vacant WBU title. Goyeram is from Sweden but has been living in Malta for a few years now. He was an excellent amateur but his progress in the pros has been slow.

 

Bridgerweight Brandon Borg (13-2) saw his fight for the vacant WBU title get cancelled due to problems with his opponent. 

 

November 28, San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain:

 

Tatiana Perez (6-0-1) won the vacant EBU minimumweight title with a unanimous decision over Belgian Amy Naert (12-6). After 10 rounds it was scored 99-91 on all cards for Perez.

 

In the chief support, in a fight for the vacant WBC Baltic light-heavyweight title, Ukrainian Bohdan Sobol (19-1-1) stopped the Swede Oscar Ahlin (27-3) in the second round. Ahlin was down earlier in the rounds and then says they clashed heads. He was badly cut and the ringside physician stopped the fight and Sobol was declared the winner. 

 

Sobol was a late sub for German Mike Jaede and got a good win after going 0-1-1 in his last two fights. 

 

Nov 29, Bangkok, Thailand:

 

Englishman Jack Scott (20-3) outscored Austrian Harold Pfingstl (18-1) in a fight for the WBC Asian (no joke) light-heavyweight title. It was scored 98-92 twice and 100-90.
