Elijah Pierce has moved up to the featherweight division for his main event fight against Michael Dasmarines on Friday at The Tabernacle in Atlanta.

Pierce stepped on the scales at 125.2lbs, while Dasmarines weighed 125.6lbs.

Pierce, 20-2 (16 KOs), originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, now resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and enters on an 11-fight win streak – with his past three victories coming at the junior featherweight division.  Pierce, 28, defeated Jose Sanmartin in August via a unanimous decision in his most recent fight. Pierce previously fought at featherweight in two bouts in 2019.

Dasmarines, 36-4-2 (25 KOs), a 32-year-old from Bangar, La Union, Philippines, might be best known for being knocked out by Naoya Inoue at junior featherweight in 2021. The loss ended his seven-fight unbeaten streak. Most recently, Dasmarines lost via a sixth-round technical knockout against Kyosuke Okamoto in March, though that defeat came on the heels of six more wins in a row.

Oshae Jones, a 2020 U.S. Olympic bronze medalist, will make the first defense of her IBF junior middleweight title against Elia Carranza in the co-feature. Jones, 8-0 (3 KOs), weighed in at 153.4lbs, while Carranza came in one pound under the championship limit at 153.0lbs.

Jones, originally from Toledo, Ohio, and now residing in New Jersey, won the title via a split decision against Femke Hermans in November. Jones, 27, had a three-fight knockout streak before her title fight.

Carranza, 11-1 (3 KOs), started her professional career at 1-1 before winning 10 straight fights. Carranza, a 34-year-old from Miami, defeated Natasha Spence in her most recent fight, in April, via a unanimous decision.

The card will stream on DAZN.
