Veteran heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte has indicated that he will fight on.
Whyte was dispatched in a round by Moses Itauma in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, and is now 31-4 (21 KOs).
He had won three fights before Itauma, but had failed to impress against Jermaine Franklin, Christian Hammer, and Ebeneezer Tetteh.
Whyte’s career has often been marred by controversy over adverse findings in PED tests, but in his career he has fought the likes of Tyson Fury, Derek Chisora (twice), Joseph Parker, Anthony Joshua, Robert Helenius, Oscar Rivas, and Alexander Povetkin.
“This is not where my story ends,” wrote Whyte on social media.
“I may have lost this fight, but not the fire that built me. Thank you to everyone who’s been standing by me through the highs and the lows. I’ll be back.”
